OMMA - Outside Group Project

I participated on this outside group project to contribute videos to be projected onto the OMMA structure that was featured at EDC in Las Vegas. I was fortunate enough to see the sculpture in progress and it was incredible! The artists who worked on it were very nice, friendly, and ambitious people. I felt very lucky to see it. The structure, and not to mention the circular screen, were GINORMOUS! The body of the sculpture was very well done, especially in the toes and knees. I was very much in awe. Also, I was able to see some of the other artists' works that were to be projected onto the screen. They were incredibly creative and fun.

I'm not exactly sure what videos of mine made it onto the screen, but here are some of mine. (a theme was to make it circular and abstract, and some examples I saw made me think of making it sort of trippy/screensaver-y).

Here's an environment test that I did before for the screensaver-y ones.

A big component they wanted was depth, so I came up with this underwater-y environment so that I could have a camera fly through it.

Here's a previous version. I made it look graphical, which I tossed out when they wanted something that was more organic.

Here's my favorite. It was inspired by my visit to the sculpture and listening to the artists there. The main idea was to have this circular imagery on a circular screen.
